Emily R. Taylor is an Associate in the firm’s Phoenix office. The areas in which her practice is concentrated include:
- Guardianship and Conservatorship
- Mental Health Law and Advocacy of the Seriously Mentally Ill
- Trusts and Decedent’s Estate Litigation
- Matters involving Breach of Fiduciary Duty
- Exploitation of Vulnerable Adults
- Litigation for, and Advocacy of, the Developmentally Disabled
Ms. Taylor received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, graduated from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law in 2007 and is a member of the State Bar of Arizona.
During her legal studies, Ms. Taylor participated in the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Arizona. This opportunity to work in her community provided her with guardianship experience, familiarity with court, and experience assisting persons involved in difficult family dynamics. Simultaneously she served as a mentor to undergraduate students interested in the practice of law through L.E.A.D. Mentoring, and participated in the Law Women’s Association. Ms. Taylor served as a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas Mitchell, Pima County Superior Court in the Probate and Mental Health division. In addition to her clerkship, she was a legal intern with the Foundation for Senior Living. Ms. Taylor’s commitment to her community and experience in the area of probate have formed a strong basis for her practice.
