DeConcini
McDonald Yetwin & Lacy, P.C. offers the opportunity
to work in a relaxed environment among dedicated and hard
working attorneys who understand the importance of balancing
ones career and ones life outside the office.
Our attorneys have distinguished academic records, are involved
in community activities, and are committed to building their
practices in Arizona. In the Tucson office, associates are
expected to bill a minimum of 1680 hours, and receive credit
for some firm activities and pro bono work. Work above the
minimum is rewarded through our bonus policy. Our lawyers
work in a variety of fields and new attorneys are invited
to explore different areas before focusing their practices
as they choose.
DeConcini McDonald typically hires entry-level associates
as a result of on-campus interviewing, leading to participation
in a summer associate program for law students, or resume
submission. We look for individuals with an outstanding
academic record in law school; participation in law school
activities such as law review, moot court, and/or legal
clinics; and distinguished oral and written communication
skills. In addition, we are interested primarily in applicants
who wish to remain in Arizona and develop a practice here.
We also consider community involvement and prior life experiences
that suggest future success as a lawyer.
When considering individuals for lateral transfer positions,
we concentrate on the individuals experience and track
record as an attorney, ties to the local community, and
ability quickly to become a contributing member of the firm.
DeConcini McDonald is an Equal Opportunity Employer. It
is the policy of the firm to consider all applicants for
employment, and all employees for placement, development
programs, job assignments, transfers, promotions and any
other status changes, regardless of their race, religion,
color, sex, age, national origin, physical handicap, sexual
or affectional preference or marital status. Hiring, training,
promotions or demotions are based only on an individual's
qualifications and ability to perform the work required
in the particular position. Qualified minority and female
applicants are encouraged to apply for job openings, and
qualified minority and female employees are encouraged
to seek promotions when such positions become available.
Minority and female personnel within the firm are encouraged
to recruit other minorities and females and to encourage
their application for employment with the firm.
