WAKEFIELD, Mass., USA – March 26, 2013 – The International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw) will hold its 2013 World Technology Law Conference and Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA, May 1-3. ITechLaw is the premier worldwide organization for legal professionals practicing in the global technology sector, with members in nearly 60 countries.
As always, the ITechLaw conference will feature a one-of-a-kind program of sessions led by prominent speakers from around the world, which will focus on the newest technology law developments and their application to attendees’ law practices. Event registration is now open.
In addition to the conference’s valuable educational offerings, participants will enjoy many networking opportunities and social events, including opening and closing receptions and an optional black-tie Gala Dinner. Attendees will include leading attorneys in private practice, in-house counsel, business executives, government officials and academics from many countries.
“Our World Technology Law Conference and Annual Meeting is the only forum that will both update you on recent technology law developments and allow you to participate in a unique networking experience,” said ITechLaw President John Beardwood of Fasken Martineau LLP. “It’s designed to support you in growing your practice, your expertise, and your worldwide referral network. I urge members and non-members to join us: you’ll make connections and establish relationships here that you could not develop in any other way.”
ITechLaw’s popular conferences feature discussions on current legal topics of international importance, presented by top lawyers and leading speakers in the field of technology law. The two days of educational programming in Scottsdale will include sessions on crowdfunding, Big Data, mobile payments, social media and gaming, IT and M&A transactions, open source, cloud computing, outsourcing, and healthcare technology issues, among others. The program format is varied and includes speaker-led presentations as well as interactive workshops, panel discussions and roundtable breakout sessions.
The event is being held at Scottsdale’s elegant Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, where attendees can obtain a discounted room rate until April 9. A limited number of event sponsorships are still available: information on opportunities to reach ITechLaw’s select and sophisticated audience is on the organization’s website.
