Megan J. Trog

Megan J. Trog is an associate in the Phoenix Office of Deconcini McDonald Yetwin & Lacy, P.C. Megan received her J.D. from Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, graduating magna cum laude with a Pedrick Scholar Award and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her scholastic achievements. While pursuing her J.D. at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Megan clerked for The Honorable Jay Polk at the Maricopa County Superior Court.

Since admission to the State Bar of Arizona in 2015, Megan has continued her legal career with DeConcini McDonald Yetwin & Lacy, P.C., Barron & Associates, of Counsel, focusing her practice on matters involving breach of fiduciary duty, guardianship and conservatorship, administration of and litigation involving trusts and decedent’s estates, elder abuse, exploitation of vulnerable adults, mental health law, court ordered treatment, and protection of the seriously mentally ill (SMI) and the developmentally challenged. Megan served as a general member on the Elder Law, Mental Health & Special Needs Planning Executive Council from 2019 to 2021 and as Chair and Past Chair of the Elder Law, Mental Health & Special Needs Planning Executive Council from 2021 to 2023. Megan continues to serve since 2021 as a Judge Pro Tem for the Maricopa County Superior Court. She also dedicates time and expertise to pro bono events such as the Night of the Living Will, as a speaker at the Advanced Probate Seminar, and as a contributing author/editor of the 2022 Arizona Probate Code Practice Manual.

When not practicing law, Megan enjoys running, soccer, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
